The project is pulled with Git, composer install and php artisan migrate run over SSH; scheduled tasks use cPanel Cron Jobs.

03Guide

SSH and Composer for Laravel

You pull your Laravel project onto the server with Git, run composer install and use php artisan commands over SSH. Just point your domain's document root to the project's public folder.

Setup steps

  • Pull the project with Git or upload the files
  • Run composer install --no-dev over SSH
  • Enter the database details in .env and run php artisan migrate
  • Set the domain's document root to the project's public folder
  • Add php artisan schedule:run in the Cron Jobs screen in cPanel for scheduled tasks

What is included?

SSH access is enabled on developer plans; each account runs in its own isolated file system with CloudLinux CageFS. Composer 2, Git, Node.js (10–24) and Python (3.11–3.13) come ready; you can choose the PHP version up to 8.5. The same plans are listed on the Laravel, Node.js and Python pages.

Every plan includes cPanel, the LiteSpeed web server, NVMe disk, free SSL and the Imunify360 security layer. Accounts run in their own resource space with CloudLinux; the CPU and RAM limits are the values on the plan card. Hosting accounts are backed up automatically every night and the last 3 days are kept; this is a convenience, so keep your own copy as well.

About Laravel hosting

Can I run a queue worker?
Continuously running background processes are not supported on shared hosting. You can run queues from cron as queue:work --stop-when-empty; for always-on workers see our VDS servers.
Which PHP versions are available?
You can choose the PHP version up to 8.5; we recommend PHP 8.2 or later for current Laravel versions.
Do I get root access?
No. SSH access is limited to your own account (CageFS); if you need root, see our VDS servers.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Yes. From the customer panel you can move to a cPanel hosting plan with more resources (including WordPress, e-commerce, developer, business and premium plans); an invoice is issued for the difference. Downgrades are not possible.
